How do we Anabaptists approach the Bible? This Sunday's theme will be the first of two messages in April and two messages in May which connect to RPC's participation in the Anabaptism@500 Study Bible Project! Pastor Charlotte will begin with an introduction to how we approach the amazing collection of 66 different books that we hold together to be our sacred Scripture. Of course we will also sing and pray and read Scripture (including John 1:1-5,14-18 & Colossians 1:15-20), and continue to walk together through the joys and griefs of our lives. Childcare for pre-K and kindergartners will be provided in the latter part of the service. Guests welcome! In person, and on Zoom.
9:30 am -- Pre-Service Coffee Plus
10 am -- Worship
11:15-11:30 am -- Informal Chatting
11:30 am to 12:30 pm (or so) -- Anabaptism@500 Bible Study!
Note that all are welcome to listen in to this Bible Study time, which will be in person and on Zoom. However, we will ask that those who have done the advance preparation of reading the texts and pondering their meaning be the ones who do most of the talking! If you'd like to participate in contributing comments on each week's texts, please contact Nancy Bedford to get the preparation instructions!
