Please save the date for a grand "re-opening" of The Harvest on Saturday, October 1! The Harvest is our neighborhood natural foods co-op and ministry of Reba Place Church. It has been closed to in-person shopping throughout the pandemic, but is ready to welcome shoppers again. There will be some slight changes to maintain safety for all, including a 5-shopper capacity and masks required for everyone.
If you've always wanted to volunteer and be a part of this great community-building "neighborhood watering hole," you would be very welcome to join the team! It is a low-level commitment and a lot of fun. For the remainder of the summer, The Harvest will continue to fill orders through its website and there is a need for volunteers to help distribute orders in August and September. Come October, volunteer opportunities would include cashiering and assisting. Reach out to David Lukens (the.harvest.coop@gmail.com) to learn more about opportunities. Come by in October to check out The Harvest in-person! Some delicious, affordable, healthy food awaits as well as friendly neighborhood faces!
