Jesus cursed the fig tree because there was no fruit,
but when Jesus prepares a table, there is always enough for everyone.
When you eat dinner with Jesus, no one goes hungry.
There is no children’s table for the young,
no cheap section for the poor,
no exclusive VIP table for the wealthy,
and no distant table for the foreigner.
No, at the table of the Lord’s Supper, everyone comes together,
and the supply never runs dry.
All willing hearts are welcome to come and receive
the bread of life and the cup of blessing.
