Did you know that our church has an active "Green Team" to help us think about Creation Care and how to be environmentally thoughtful as a community? If this is a topic you are interested in, consider joining! New members are very welcome. The Green Team has led several thoughtful Sunday morning services, led the way for composting at our potlucks and Adventure Kids meals, made us aware of environmental justice concerns, created regular Eco-Letters for our website, and more!
Their next scheduled gathering is on Sun, July 2 from 4 - 5:30 pm in the Reba neighborhood (exact location yet to be determined). Topics of discussion at the gathering will most likely focus on a Season of Creation service, energy efficiency, and ways to keep learning about our region.
