The Racial Justice Team invites the congregation to take time to celebrate AAPI (Asian American Pacific Islander) Heritage Month, also called AANHPI (Asian American Native Hawaiian Pacific Islander) Heritage Month. There will be an interactive workshop featuring a panel of folks from our own community this coming Fri, June 2 from 7-9 pm at the Meetinghouse. We want to begin to look at what it means to be AAPI and the impact of racism on those communities. SaeJin Lee, Charlotte Tsuyuki Lehman, and Carolyn Wilke will be sharing their experiences as part of the AAPI communities. Light refreshments will be served at the conclusion of the workshop to provide more opportunity for discussion. Hope you can join!
