The first of the Longest Night Liturgies takes place TONIGHT, Wednesday, December 2, at 5:30 pm via Zoom. You are welcome to either follow along at home or walk through the liturgy offline with your family, household, small group, or quarantine pod--whatever is your safe social circle.
Throughout these liturgies, we will be engaging in the ancient practice of lament, and we'll be "rending" or tearing cloth as an act of mourning. We will then use this torn fabric to create a community art piece - an Advent wreath decorated with our prayers of lament.
