Lent is a 40-day season of reflection and renewal leading up to Easter, when we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus! Mark your calendars for the following events and times of connection within our community…
Palm Sunday: Sun, Apr 2, 10 am worship. Everyone will have the opportunity to participate in the service with palm branches. The Reba Dance Group will share the dance, Jerusalem, Jerusalem during the service. The children will also perform a dance with palms. Any kids who would like to participate should reach out to Julie Larson!
Maundy Thursday: Thurs, Apr 6, 6 pm. Join in a simple community supper around the table including Scripture, songs, and an opportunity to practice foot washing.
Good Friday: Fri, Apr 7, 7 pm service. Come to reflect on the passion of Jesus as we mark the day when he was denied by his friends, suffered, and was put to death.
Easter Sunday:
Sun, Apr 9, sunrise service at Lighthouse Beach (Sheridan Rd & Central St). Join a group of Reba folks to sing and watch the sunrise over Lake Michigan! Gather at 5:40 am at the beach.
Sun, Apr 9, 10 am worship. Celebrate that “He is Risen!” with joyful music, dance, activities for the kids, and a special time of fellowship & dessert after the service.
