Learn & Discern Sept. 13

As you are aware, our church is currently going through a discernment process regarding the possibility of changing our conference affiliation. Reba Place Church has been affiliated with the Illinois Mennonite Conference (IMC) and we are discerning the possibility of changing our affiliation to the Central District Conference (CDC). Thanks to all those who completed a survey about these ideas earlier this summer! Step 1 in the Tentative Timeline is already done! 

Step 2 will be a gathering on Sun, Sept 13, right after the worship service. During this time, we will hear which themes emerged from the survey and have structured conversations with one another. This will be a time of listening, discussion, and prayer. This is an important next step in our process. The comparative information sheet about the two conferences can be found here, for your reference. Please plan to be present on the 13th to learn and discern with us; you are an important part of our church community.
