Last Week for School Kits!

This is the final week that we are collecting school supplies for Mennonite Central Committee and their annual School Kit Challenge. All supplies are due next Sun, Aug 17. You can find a list of needed supplies here. NOTE: All the supplies purchased must be NEW and EXACTLY as indicated on the list. (RPC will buy all the needed pencil sharpeners, so no need to shop for those.) If you don't have time to shop for supplies but would still like to contribute, you can donate cash/check to the cause on Sunday morning at the Meetinghouse. $10 will provide funds to fill one bag; $100 will fill 10 bags! (Indicate "MCC School Kits" on your donation envelope for the Red Box.)

Plan to stay after the service the following Sun, Aug 24 to join us for a packing party to put all the supplies into handmade bags! Three cheers for our team of school kit bag assemblers (see photo)!
