Ash Wednesday, February 17, marks the beginning of the season of Lent. This year, our Ash Wednesday service will take place outside in a contemplative walk-by poem at the Reba Meetinghouse (620 Madison). Take part anytime from 7:30-8:15 am OR from 5:30-6:15 pm. Begin at the Custer Avenue alley entrance and read your way slowly north and around the corner to the Madison Street door, where Pastor Charlotte will be available to give the mark of ashes (in a COVID-safe way) and a blessing for any who want it. Please wear a mask, and maintain social distancing with others who are present at the same time. There will also be a recorded online version of this simple practice posted on the RPC Facebook Page that day.
