Christmas Eve

Updated: Dec 22, 2021

Attend Christmas Eve ONLINE via Zoom* for our heart-warming and meaningful Pageant Service this Friday, December 24 at 7:00 pm!

Unfortunately, COVID positivity rates are spiking in and around Evanston and with ICUs at 91% capacity as of December 20th, hospitals are now signaling the need to take more precautions so their facilities are not overwhelmed. The City of Evanston is asking that larger gatherings be held virtually. We want to be good and loving neighbors! So here's the plan for Christmas Eve:

  • If you have a role in the pageant, come to the Meetinghouse in person and be part of our broadcast to everyone else. If you're a sheep or shepherd or animal or dancer or Magi or tech person or musician or reader etc., or you're in the family of one of those folks, please come to the Meetinghouse. Please wear a surgical mask, or an N95 or KN95 mask if you have one. If you've been exposed to someone with a positive COVID test and are not out of quarantine or have not had a negative test since then, or if you feel sick or are having symptoms, do not come in person. If you live with folks who are particularly vulnerable, consider attending online* instead.

  • If you don't have a role in the pageant, please attend online only via Zoom.* This will enable those of us who need to be in the Meetinghouse to keep more distance and not share as many germs or viruses with one another!

Thanks for understanding and being part of our effort to care for our community with these mitigation measures at Reba, in Evanston, and beyond!
