Budget Updates

• The Proposed 2026 Budget was approved by congregational vote. The details are below.

• We have set Feb 15, 2026 for our Congregational Meeting about how to fund and show the funding of the Capital Improvements Reserve Fund (CIRF) and how to spend any surplus of giving from 2025. Good work has been done since the last meeting on a proposal about this and understanding everyone's concerns. Proposal will be circulated before the next meeting.

• Our Year-End Giving has advanced by $14,215.50 for the week ending Dec 6, bringing our total to $258,606.88 for the year so far. That leaves $26,393.12 to go for our $285K initial budget goal for the year, and $41,393.12 to even cover our expected Cost-Share (rental) income shortfall! Woo-hoo and thank you!

* Note that search for less expensive pastoral health insurance was done, but nothing was found that was sufficiently equivalent to what we had from Everence, and Leadership did not want to downgrade the benefits offered at this point.
