Anabaptism@500 Study Bible Project
It's not too late to participate or even just listen in on Reba's group for the Anabaptism@500 Study Bible Project this Sun, Apr 23, from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm, at the Meetinghouse! (And then on May 21 and May 28 as well.) Here's the texts to read and some questions to help you ponder them! In person and on Zoom. Join with the community and the Holy Spirit to do the work of contextualizing these ancient sacred texts to find their meaning for us now. Come and share what questions and insights they inspired in you! Facilitated by Nancy Bedford.
April 23: Numbers 5:11-31, 6:1-27 May 21: Acts 6, 7:1-19 May 28: Psalm 16:1-11
Questions to help you ponder the texts: 1. What does the verse or passage suggest about God? 2. What might/does Jesus have to say about it? 3. What does the verse or passage suggest about humans—our possibilities and mistakes? 4. How do you live differently because of this verse or passage? 5. What questions remain with you?
