Yesterday's Day of Action

On Tues, Dec 19, around 60 Mennonites from the Chicagoland area churches gathered in downtown Chicago to deliver a letter to Senators Tammy Duckworth and Dick Durbin, calling for a permanent ceasefire in Gaza. The group sang, prayed, and held signs in the Federal Plaza. Joining over 40 other similar actions across the US and Canada, with 1,700+ Mennonites and interfaith allies, yesterday's event was the largest Christian-led movement calling for a permanent ceasefire in Gaza.
