Here is a reminder about some great opportunities this week for your family to plug into our church community...
TODAY (Wednesday, May 4): Adventure Kids children's ministry. This is an open invite to all Pre-K through 5th grade students who want a place to connect with other kids, receive a Bible teaching in a fun and developmentally-appropriate format, play games, make crafts, do some singing and dancing, and get to know other caring adults in our church community. The group will meet through the rest of the school year on Wednesday evenings, 5:30-6:30 pm at the Ministry Center (535 Custer). Doors open at 5:00 to play in the game room!
TODAY (Wednesday, May 4): Men's Group. This is an open invite to all male-identifying folks in our community who want a place to connect with others for sharing and prayer. The group meets on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the month from 7-8:30 pm at the Meetinghouse (620 Madison).
NEXT MONDAY, May 9th: Watch Party with the Racial Justice Team and representation from the Poor People's Campaign: A National Call for Moral Revival. The group will show the film "We Cried Power," a documentary telling the story of the formation of the Poor People's Campaign, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s last great work, striving to end poverty in the United States. The 50-min film will start at 7 pm and will be followed by a 30-min discussion.
