Welcome to Senior Connections!

We are a visiting ministry that pairs isolated older adults in Evanston with caring volunteers from the community. We recruit, train, and match volunteers with seniors to form ongoing friendships.
Looking for opportunities to bridge cross generations and cultures, experience living history, give a helping hand, or gain a new friend? Check out the Becoming a Visitor page.

NEW: Senior Connections welcomes new director
Dear Friends and Colleagues:
We are delighted to announce that we have a new Director of Senior Connections. Please help us welcome Barbara J. Sittler L.C.S.W.; M. Div. who comes to us with over 18 years of experience working with the elderly. Barbara is a ten-year resident of Evanston who most recently worked on grandparents raising grandchildren programming covering the state of Illinois. Barbara did her undergraduate work in Theology at Loyola University of Chicago and did her graduate work at the University of Chicago Divinity School and School of Social Service Administration. We hope you have an opportunity to meet with Barbara as she introduces herself to the Aging community in Evanston.
