Who is Reba Praise?
Over the last five decades, Reba Place Church music ministry has grown beyond its origins in traditional hymnody. The ministry has functioned with folk-charismatic renewal songs and with Jim Croegaert's "anabaptist catholic" worship leading. In 1997 a next step of growth and change occurred when Scott Oliver and Helen Hudgens began Reba Praise to lead Sunday morning worship. Almost a decade later, Reba Praise blends traditional worship sounds with the best of classic and contemporary gospel.

In 2005 Reba Praise with the help of gospel artist Ray Bady produced their first CD entitled GOSPEL JOURNEY. This album brings Reba Praise's tight harmonies, an impressive backup band, and unique sound to a broader audience.
Reba Praise not only continues to lead Sunday morning worship every week, but in the last year they have also led worship for both local and regional gatherings. Most recently they led worship for the Mennonite Church USA's biannual assembly in San Jose, California.
